Is this a headshot? 📸

There has been some discussion & controversy over whether or not my work are actual “headshots”.

Here is the reality 👇🏼

Yes! To my clients these 1000% are headshots. They are used throughout all their marketing and business needs as their headshots.

No they are not (only to photographers) who want to be technical and call these personal branding shots. Since it’s not the tight crop of shoulders and up.

I use the term, {Branding Headshots} to describe my work.

👉🏼My shoots are not personal branding shoots.

Unless my client specifically asks for that and those are my highest ticket packages since we need more planning, shot list & vision board creation, longer shoot time, location scouting etc.

The Signature Headshot in-studio sessions I offer my clients are fashion inspired headshot shoots.

I shoot tight crops headshots, full length body shots, and 3/4. All included in the one hour session.

Why? Women in business need a wide variety of “headshots” for all of their marketing needs today.

My clients opinions & needs are my only concern.

We are in a sellers market here in Asheville but my buyers still have a shot at their dream home. You just need to be prepared to act fast.

Here are some of my favorite tips I give to my buyers in this very fast paced market...

1- Be ready. First step before starting your home search is to talk to a mortgage broker (and I love using local agents). Have your pre-approval in hand so we can act fast when that perfect home hits the market.

2- Do your research now. Do you know who you want to use as your closing attorney, inspector, and lender? The last thing you want to do is feel rushed after submitting an offer to make these major decisions.

3- Mentally prepare yourself to meet in the middle. If you are new to Asheville area make sure to talk to your realestate advisor to see what's realistic for our mountain town.

A very common request I get from out-of-town buyers is that they want long range mountain views but are terrified to drive up a steep road. This is hard to find since we need to climb to get those views.

Or my buyers want an income producing investment rental but want to be walking distance to downtown Asheville. Unfortunately, our local city laws often restrict this or an HOA will.

Curious about the housing market here in Asheville, NC?

Asheville has so much to offer in terms of lifestyle. Incredible restaurants & breweries, the great outdoors, and year round seasons. Some of the reasons we made the move here from Miami.

The Asheville regional area average home price last year was $340,000 which was a 16% increase from 2020.*

The days on the market for this price point too is about 32 days.*

We are definitely in a sellers market and that can be seen now nationwide.

It's good to know our numbers.

One of the major reasons we moved from Miami to Asheville was to enjoy more of the great outdoors.

Hiking is one of my favorite things to do so here are some of my go-to spots.

Looking for a great moderate hike just minutes from downtown: Try the Mountain to Sea trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enter at the Folk Art Museum.

Kid Friendly: Try the trails hidden within the property of the Arboretum. Plus you can enjoy the Arboretum & their restrooms & cafe for lunch.

Favorite Easy waterfall hike: Catawba Falls near Black Mountain. This hike is relatively flat and just over 2 miles to the most majestic water fall. End the day with a beer or coffee in the charming town of Black Mountain.

Do you have a favorite hike in town? I'd love to add it to my ongoing list of new hikes to try.

It's been a while since I've said hello. Working mom life is no joke so I wanted to re-introduce myself to you.

Hi, I'm Michelle. I moved to the beloved mountain town of Asheville 5 years ago from my home town of Miami Beach.

I quickly fell in love with all that Asheville has to offer. The award winning breweries, places to eat, the great outdoors, and the nicest people.

Not to mention, I love living in a place that has a proper 4 seasons to experience.

Trust me as a kid I prayed for snow every December and saw my first snow at 17 years old. So I truly do enjoy our special snow days here.

I've recently become a boy mom and love working. So my day-to-day is a little crazy. Since becoming a mom I have learned to just " roll with it" and "let go" much more.

I specialize in helping out of town buyers find their perfect AVL home to settle down in. Since I love being a tour guide.

I also love being able to help sellers list their homes in this incredible market today. Plus my background in marketing and photography help me sell your home with ease.

I've been an entrepreneur and photographer for over 12 years and love taking the knowledge I've learned and applying it to my business in realestate.

A graphic post isn’t always that exciting but this information is. A look back at the market overview for the Asheville area in the month of December. It’s definitely a sellers market and helps explain why I’ve been showing much more land than usual to out of town buyers.
