I just learned of this young man whose family lives near the Merrimon office; the family is dear to several folks at Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church (Asheville, NC). Their circumstance should remind us stop and be grateful when our lives are stable and routine--and to be generous when we see others in need of help. Though I don't know the McConnells, my thoughts are with Hudson and his family. Hudson, I'm rooting for you.
