That's what it's all about for me. I have owned a few businesses throughout my life's journey, a hair shop, a general store, and my own real estate company in Michigan. So before I started my real estate career in Florida, I wanted to not run a business for a while after the first two businesses. My son, who was watching me clean a mall for a living at that time, told me about the local college in Ocala Florida where they were offering real estate classes. He encouraged me to get my real estate license. I loved looking at houses so it was a perfect fit for me. I worked in Florida for 5 years, then moved back to Michigan and started my own office. I did that successfully for 10 years. As we grow older, we realize what is important in life. To me it is family. I missed my son and his wife, and my beautiful granddaughter. So I sold my house, shut down my office, and moved to Asheville. I am with my family, loving what I do for a living, and enjoying the prettiest place to live.

I have been in real estate since 2004, thanks to my son Jesse, who saw in me what I did not yet see in myself, that I would be great at Real Estate. And I am so grateful to him. I worked in Florida for 6 years, then decided to move back to Michigan where I grew up, and became the broker of my own office in 2010. I really enjoy what I do. I love the feeling of finding someone or families the perfect place to play or live, and knowing I had a part in that special time in their life. Northern Lower Michigan is one of the prettiest areas to be in and I am so thankful I get to work and live here.
