After 26 years shaping young minds in private education, I exchanged chalk dust for closing documents and have never looked back. Since 2013, I’ve helped more than 200 families buy, sell, and relocate to and from the western North Carolina mountains. For nearly 30 years, I worked in private education. From 1987 to 2004 I worked at an all-boys, private, Catholic school; Saint Joseph’s High Sc
hool operated by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. As a teacher and department chair the curriculum was revamped and expanded. In 1989, I became the Campus Ministry Director and established a four-year curriculum for community service. Outside the classroom I moderated the Student Council, coached Track and Field teams, coordinated the school wide special events, and worked on national committees for schools sponsored by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. Moving into administration in 1999, first as Director of Alumni, a quarterly magazine highlighting alumnus, donors, and the school was published, along with creating local and regional events. As the Director of Advancement, the school completed its first ever capital campaign. In my "off" time, I worked as a volunteer press officer for USA Track & Field and a cast-member at The Disney Store. Seeking a new challenge in 2004, to sharpen my fundraising, networking, and strategic-planning skills, I was recruited by Asheville School, an independent boarding school, to lead their Annual Fund. Four years later, I accepted a Lead Donor position at Mercersburg Academy—based in rural Pennsylvania and traveling nationwide. When an opportunity to head an advancement team in Soutern Pines arose, I returned to North Carolina. In 2013 I transitioned into real estate as a broker and agent and now help people every day on their journey to a new chapter in life. Whether you’re relocating across the country or moving up the street, I’m here to make your next step in Western North Carolina smooth, strategic, and successful.
