On June 3, my mini-me, Emily Collett, finished law school at The Dickson P**n School of Law at King's College London! I couldn't be prouder! From her first graduation (pictured here with her pre-school boyfriend!) to this one, she has been focused, kind, supportive of others and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Pizza orders now live on the website store for Sunday! Select your time slot, the number of pies you’d like to reserve, and specify how many of each you would like in the form provided. We’ll have a margherita available as always, and housemate is making one with nettles from our yard and sundried tomatoes.
Pick up times begin at 5 as always, and end at 7:45 so we can watch of course. Loaves and pastries available to go as well. Any payment—we suggest $10-$15 per 10” pizza as a donation—can be paid through the donations tab on the website store, or brought in person when you pick up here. 🥳

Sometimes when I get tired, I imagine you receiving your orders of flowers and groceries — unwrapping the blooms, trimming the ends and placing them into a vase. Washing the strawberries and blueberries and putting them in a bowl. Creating charcuterie plates from local cheese and salami and pouring a glass of wine (sorry, we don’t sell wine just yet, so you’ll have to provide that yourselves). I think of the messages of love you send to each other, attached to bouquets and bags of groceries. I imagine all the weddings we’ll do this fall and next year, and how flowers from our farm will be part of lifetime memories for our couples and their families. And all that keeps me going!

On the grocery front today, we have new items from Root Bottom Farm! The sale of these items helps them recover from catastrophic flooding last week. You can find them at ashevillegrocery.com (which redirects to our website, Flowersnc.com/delivery). To get to Root Bottom’s items faster, you can select Farm Aid from the menu at the top of the Grocery page, or select Local. You can also use the search bar to search for Root Bottom.
