We went to bloomsandbrewsavl at The Mule at Devil’s Foot Beverage and had so much fun making flower arrangements. Dee is absolute gem and was such a delight to meet. Haig and I went to the 🌭 Big Weiner Party 🌭 at Bear's Smokehouse BBQ yesterday. The badass folks at the ℝ𝔸ℕ𝕂𝕀ℕ 𝕍𝔸𝕌𝕃𝕋 won for a 2nd year in a row. It was well deserved and we were so excited for them. 😊 The event raised a bunch of money for Linked4Life. They support no-cost mental health counseling for people who work in the service industry, as well as youth and educational programs.

Day 7 & 8- We took the Eurostar from London to Paris. We arrived to 100 degree temperatures. We saw the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, where the robbery took place at the Louvre, Notre-Dame, and many other breathtaking buildings and landmarks. We toured Versailles and were completely taken with the gardens. We only scratched the surface of what is there. What a beautiful city that is so rich in history!

Day 6- We spent the first part of our day at the British Museum. It has a permanent collection of eight million works, which is the largest in the world. We saw the Rosetta Stone and thousands of other unbelievable things. We then crossed the Tower Bridge and went to the Tower of London. We toured the White Tower which was built by William the Conqueror in 1066 and saw the Crown Jewels. It was very hot, but very awesome.

Day 5- We arrived in London during the worst heat wave in their history. When it is 90+ degrees outside and there is almost no AC to escape to, it is a very interesting and challenging experience. We pushed through nonetheless and saw Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. We visited Chinatown, Leicester Square, the National Portrait Gallery, The National Gallery, and Trafalgar Square. It was a pretty great day!

Day 4- Conner and I left Conwy and rode on the bus along the English countryside and spent the night in Birmingham. We then went on to spend the day in Stratford-upon-Avon. We visited Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s Birthplace. During our free time we walked around the town and happened upon the Guild Chapel of the Holy Cross, a 13th century chapel. In 1804, restoration work uncovered a number of wall paintings throughout the church. It was really fascinating. While there, we learned that the schoolhouse next door was where Shakespeare is believed to have attended. We toured it and sat in what would have been Shakespeare’s classroom. It was pretty surreal. Stratford-upon-Avon was our favorite place we visited. We absolutely loved it.

Day 3- Conner and I took a giant ferry from Dublin to Holyhead, Wales. We then headed to Conwy. It is a sweet little market town where the 13th century Conwy Castle is situated. The castle and its 1400 yard ring of town walls were built by King Edward I and is considered one of the most well preserved medieval castles of its time. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Conner and I loved it all. It was one of our favorite places that we visited.

Conner and I went on a school trip to Dublin, London, and Paris for 10 days at the end of June. We ended up traveling on a coach with 46 other students and adults (a very interesting experience for sure). We spent the first two days in Dublin and visited Trinity College, saw the Book of Kells, St. Stephen’s Green, Phoenix Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The Little Museum of Dublin, and some cool pubs. It was a beautiful city with the loveliest people.

I had a lot of fun working and playing in Asheville this weekend. I hit up the first Downtown After 5. 🎸 They are the third Friday of every month from April to September at Pack Square Park from 5-9.

☀️Met some friends and took in some sunshine at the in South Slope. Got the fried burrata and a delicious cocktail called the Dream Sick. 🍹

Wrapped up the weekend with an open house at my listing at 112 Meadow Breeze Rd in Arden, NC. I got to enjoy hanging out on the deck and taking in some beautiful mountain views. ⛰️
