Attention to all tenants:
With the major winter storm coming, please try to keep pipes from freezing so non-emergency travel is not being utilized by myself or handymen to try to attempt to fix the problem!
Try to remember that if itโs cold enough outside for ice, itโs cold enough to put your groceries outside & not let them spoil.
If your electric goes out, most of us will lose electric. It is not something a landlord can fix or a reimbursable event, it is just an unfortunate natural occurrence. Make plans accordingly now & be prepared to be uncomfortable for a few days up to a week- just as my family is making the same preparations.
Most importantly- be SAFE! Do not go out unnecessarily. This storm is probably going to be very bad so help a neighbor, stay warm, and be patient with lineman and those salting the roads.
