I'm so excited for this. Last year, we were just getting ready to go live with our Airbnb/VRBO rental and all I was doing up here was working on the house from mid-August through mid October, every weekend. I never had time to go to the market. Then I think it was the first weekend in October last year the my good friend of 30+ years came up and we spent the night on Saturday and went to the Market that Sunday. I think it may have been the last one or almost the last one. So many great local products. I can't wait to get more..honey, mushrooms, all the veggies, etc!! I hope to make it to the market a couple times this summer when I'm up! So much to check out when you're up here. Historic Ashtabula Harbor, Harbor Gardens, Three Sisters Cafe, Harbor Perk Coffeehouse & Roasting Company. All the little shops are so cute. Food is amazing! Briquettes Smokehouse, Bascule Bridge Grille, Fire Chicken Sandwiches, Old Firehouse Winery the The Little Pie Shop & Cafe, the list goes on and on!!

The Ashtabula Farmers Market starts THIS SUNDAY, June 14!

From 10am-1pm, every Sunday from June 14 to October 11, head to the Halcyon parking lot in the Historic Ashtabula Harbor for fresh produce and hand-crafted items. Support the local food scene and keep dollars in the community!

I had to come up on Tuesday and forgot to post, but I had the BEST BLT sandwich on sour dough bread and a piece of blueberry/peach pie at The Little Pie Shop & Cafe. I haven't had a BLT for quite awhile and I'm super glad I ordered it. It was perfect....the bacon was perfect!! . *Highly recommend*!
