One year ago today, I had three surgeries to remove cancer I didn’t even know was there.
No warning signs. No symptoms. No pain. No history.
Today, I am cancer-free, healthy, strong, and living a very robust life. 🤍
Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for the people who carried me through it—my children, family, friends, colleagues, clients, and everyone who showed me unwavering love and support.
But today I especially want to thank these guys. 🐾🐾
While my kids were at school and I was recovering, my animals surrounded me every single day. They stayed beside me while I worked, rested, healed, and tried to keep life moving. Somehow, they just knew.
Three surgeries. 35 rounds of radiation. More tests and scans than I can count.
And somewhere along the way, I discovered just how strong I really am—mentally and physically.
After radiation, I was ready to conquer the world.
And I did. ✨
But I’m sharing this for one reason above all else:
My cancer gave me no warning. Routine screening found it.
Please get your mammogram. Don’t skip a year because you’re busy or because you feel perfectly healthy. I did too.
If sharing my story reminds even one woman to schedule her screening, then sharing something this personal is worth it.
Early detection changed my life.
One year later: cancer-free, incredibly grateful, surrounded by love…and still conquering the world. 🤍🐾
