Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley locals: by Aspen standards, this is an affordable way into a first-class ski-in, ski-out property. ⛷️

Yes, this studio at the Viceroy Snowmass is small. You could buy more square footage in an older building. But if you care more about the experience than the size, this is a compelling tradeoff: a luxury residence with a pool, spa, fitness center, ski valet, restaurants, and concierge right at your doorstep.

Make it your home, use it as an investment property, or explore it as housing for a local employee. Owners have options for handling rentals, including the Viceroy program or managing them independently, subject to the property’s governing rules.

And after a price reduction, it’s now listed $15,000 below the adjoining studio that sold earlier this summer.

For a single buyer, a couple, a local business owner, or a first-time investor, I think this is one of the most interesting upper-valley offerings at this price point.

DM me VICEROY and let’s take a look.

Oktoberfest, Aspen style.

Good friends, fall colors, a little Jeep adventure up and down Aspen Mountain—and somehow we walked away as the costume contest champions at the W Aspen.

Prost to good friends, mountain adventures, and one of the best times of year in Aspen.

The Aspen dress code: a $4,000 jacket that looks ready to chop wood. 🪵

Somehow, it makes perfect sense here.

Speaking of Aspen luxury that makes sense once you see it: I’m at 400 Eagle Pines Drive, a home on West Buttermilk with views toward Buttermilk Mountain, home of the Aspen X Games.

Come for the questionable fashion advice. Stay for the real estate.

JUST SOLD | Downtown Aspen | $1,510,000

“Affordable” is a relative term in Aspen. But a one-bedroom condo in an A+ downtown location, in a zone that permits short-term rentals? That’s a pretty compelling combination.

This was my second time selling this condo. I loved watching the seller make a happy life here, then outgrow it. Now a new buyer gets to make it their own. That’s one of my favorite things about downtown Aspen condos: they can fit one chapter of your life beautifully and open the door to the next.

And yes, this one will be part of our short-term rental inventory. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Aspen—or a condo of your own—call the Condo King. 👑

Not a bad place for an office meeting.

Today, our Christie’s International Real Estate Aspen Snowmass team gathered at 110 Coach Road—an extraordinary Aspen estate offered at $69 million and listed by Ryan Elston.

Set on 3.57 acres just 2.5 miles from downtown Aspen, the 9,339-square-foot home combines remarkable privacy and river access with bold contemporary architecture by Zone 4 Architects. Poured concrete, expansive glass and sweeping views stretch from Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highlands to Buttermilk and Independence Pass.

One of the privileges of being part of Christie’s is spending time in exceptional properties like this—alongside the agents who know them best.

Your first Aspen home doesn’t have to be your forever home.

For a lot of buyers, the smartest first move is an Aspen condo that gets them into the market — and into the lifestyle.

Spend more time here. Learn the neighborhoods. Figure out what you actually use, where you like to be, and what matters enough to pay for.

Then, when the bigger move comes along, you’re buying from experience instead of theory.

Aspen real estate can be a long game.

And yes, occasionally it helps to have a good matchmaker. 👑

Speaking today at the Four Seasons Chicago for the Christie’s International Real Estate Agents Summit.

Honored to join a panel on how we can leverage the Christie’s brand, global network, and connection to the auction house to create more value for our clients.

One of the things I value most about this network is that it’s not theoretical — these are real relationships with great brokers in the markets where our Aspen buyers and sellers live.

Looking forward to sharing a few real-world examples from Aspen, learning from some of the best in the business, and representing Christie’s International Real Estate Aspen Snowmass.

What does it actually mean to leverage the Christie’s brand?

Here’s one tangible example.

400 Eagle Pines was selected for Christie’s International Real Estate’s Masters Circle auction-house montage and shown in New York, London, Geneva and Hong Kong. I even got to see it playing in London myself.

Does that sell an Aspen property by itself? Of course not.

The value is the opportunity — international exposure, relationships and reach that would be very difficult for me to create independently.

After eight years with Christie’s, I finally sat down and wrote about what the affiliation has actually meant to me in practice — in real estate, but also through art, watches, collecting, travel and the relationships that have come from staying curious.

New on the blog. Link in bio to read more.
