I came to Aspen in 1992 to teach skiing for one season.

By then I'd taught in Europe, New Zealand and the US, and Aspen was meant to be another stop on the list. It wasn't the mountains that changed my mind - plenty of places have mountains. It was the people, the history, the character of the town. Something clicked that first winter and I never quite got around to leaving.

Thirty-some seasons on Highlands later, and twenty-plus years as an independent broker here, I've been quietly working on something. It's live now.
