Royce Construction's current project. Here we build the retaining walls, install 4" perforated drain pipe. Seal the block walls, install 8oz non woven filter fabric, (burrito wrap) install and compact the drain gravel, completely covered gravel with burrito wrap to prevent dirt reaching and clogging the drain pipe, then back fill and compact a layer of dirt over the burrito wrap. Ultimately there will be an addition up above the block walls. This new space will be used for home schooling but could later be used as a JADU ( junior accessory dwelling unit) for extra income, or for your extended family to live in.
