Since I have gained a few new followers lately, I wanted to take a minute to reintroduce myself! I am Gena Knox: a full time real estate agent, mom of four, cookbook author (from long ago), and wife to an amazing husband. I am lucky enough to live in one of the best towns in the south: Athens, Georgia.

Life is busy, real estate in Athens is normalizing, but still crazy fun and I am super grateful. I have many goals for the new year, but one is to do a better job of keeping you up to date on what is happening in Athens. Lots of fun things coming up with work and family and I can not wait to share it all with you! 💙

One of my favorite features of 120 Plum Nelly…the MUDROOM. It is the perfect drop zone for backpacks, muddy shoes, and boots. What I love most about the brilliant design of is the repurposing of this gorgeous cast iron sink. It was found in the basement of this home and refurbished for a new life!

What an amazing chapter for Neely at Rumsey Hall! I could not be more proud of this boy for being so courageous and keeping such a positive attitude. We are so blessed to have such amazing friends to support us in this adventure…Neely is about to take Connecticut by storm!

A full weekend of dove hunting and sweet goodbyes to Doc fills this boys heart♥️. Growing up, I would visit each bird dog’s kennel everyday after school because I always worried they were lonely in their kennel. Looks like Neely has the same heart!
