Athens Homecoming Parade route information. 🦅

📣 HOMECOMING PARADE DETAILS Reminder that the Athens Homecoming Parade will be held on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 PM. Make plans to come out and cheer on our in this cherished tradition of floats, music, spirit, royalty, and more!

The procession will step off from Athens Renaissance School and travel down Forrest Street to Jefferson Street. The Pride of Athens Golden Eagle Band 🎶 will join the procession at Green Street, marking the official start of the Homecoming Parade. From there, the parade will make its way around The Square via Washington Street, Marion Street, and Market Street before returning to Jefferson Street. It will continue to Hobbs Street and conclude at Athens Middle School.

You've been waiting! The 2026 Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 – Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The entertainment line-up is:
Wednesday, September 30 at 7:30 pm – The Larry Sparks Show *Free Preview Night*

Thursday, October 1 at 7:00 pm – Mike Compton & Andy Todd: Special Delmore Brothers Tribute, followed by Dale Ann Bradley

Friday, October 2 at 6:00 pm – The Isaacs

Saturday, October 3 at 7:30 pm – The Del McCoury Band
