Athens County remains under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, and Ohio University has closed the Athens campus for the entire day. As a result, the University Commons office will be closed today, and there will be no bus service. We will resume normal operations once conditions improve and it is safe to do so. Due to the current snowstorm and hazardous road conditions, University Commons buses will be delayed until at least 11:00 a.m. tomorrow. The main office will also remain closed and will not open until 12:00 p.m. Management and drivers will reevaluate road conditions around 9:30 a.m. and will provide an update regarding any further delays.

If Ohio University cancels in-person classes due to the weather, University Commons buses will not run. Bus service will remain suspended until in-person classes officially resume. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our residents, drivers, and staff. Please travel only if necessary and stay safe.
