Metamorphosis in all its glory! I have somewhere around a hundred (yes, literally! a HUNDRED, my girls and I call it “milkweed meadow”) milkweed plants on my property in which means I get a front row seat to this magic! I’m a sucker for pretty things and transformation and hatched this pretty girl (along with others) from an egg- 🥚 to caterpillar 🐛 to butterfly 🦋 over the course of the past few weeks. Yesterday was HOT but made for a beautiful emerging day!
