SAVE THE DATE: National Night Out is August 5, 2025

Kootenai County, Idaho: The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with other local public service entities, is hosting this year’s National Night Out event again at McIntire Family Park on August 5th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This is a family friendly event promoting public safety and building community relationships. On hand at the event will be your local First Responders displaying equipment, educating citizens on how and why we use the equipment, and giving you a chance to see, touch, and feel some of the cool things we use. But that’s not all! Join us for live entertainment, to include K9 demos, scenarios, watch the ABLE 1 helicopter landing and enjoy free food and drinks as you check out our local vendor booths and community resources. We hope to see you there!

Our Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Search and Rescue Unit will be serving a free community meal. Sheriff Norris will be on hand to meet citizens, talk about his vision for the future of public safety in Kootenai County, and discuss ways the agency can better serve you.
