This rehab was so satisfying. We had to gut the entirety of the inside and replace it with new sheet rock. Now that it's all done and mudding and sanding is completed, we are moving on to the finish work and flooring.
It's always good to rehab your units when tenants move out. Most times you hope to do minor work but, this one needed a little of everything. Can't wait to show the final product!

Currently, first time home buyers face quickly rising house prices and thus quickly rising minimum down payments. The hope is this credit allows more people to become home owners.
According to experts, inventory in the housing market has continued to be strained after the 2020 short fall of roughly 4 million newly constructed homes per an analysis from . It could be said that there is a lack of entry level homes available to new home buyers. Thus, they are forced to look at houses out of reach for someone just entering the process for the first time. Add that to high debt to income ratios with the rising costs of student loans, it makes for a tricky situation to get an approved mortgage.
Here in Massachusetts, in 2020 the median cost of a house rose in almost all areas in the state. Link in bio to check your area.
Will this credit help more people get into homes? Will it push the inventory shortage to worse levels with the now greater competition for them? Will it cause still higher house prices because of this new strain?

The storm the other night had the .propertyllc team up all night. This was my face after I finally got home from the last pass of cleaning it up. It was a crazy storm and we were glad to be covering our customers. But, the day of work following definitely was a little rough.
Whatever it takes though we are determined to finish our work effectively and efficiently.
Hard work pays off. Just keep pushing!

We are doing a rehab project on one of our athol apartments. It has been interesting. I have high hopes in the final product.
When we are finished, it will be a 2 bedroom with a brand new kitchen, light fixtures, entries, walls, ceilings, and paint.
Can't wait to share the final results! Thank you to our client who allowed us to take on this project. Can't wait to give someone a beautiful unit.

Short walk through of a deck job we did not to long ago. This one used hidden fasteners that use a groove in the decking to hold it all together without having to screw the decking directly to the joists.
Loved the look of the screwless composite boards and loved even more finishing it to get out of the 🥶.
