The truth about the real estate market in Atlanta and its popular suburbs, is that it has been overpriced and should be getting a much needed correction.

There is literally no reason for six figure earning households to be struggling to find a home.

I never supported what 2020 did to the market. And though my own sellers benefitted on the selling side, they suffered immediately when it was time to buy again.

I've had 1 client that was able to buy a home from me at $545,000 cash on a custom build in New Orleans. They are dear friends who own a tech business and welcomed a new addition to their family. They decided to go the cash route after looking at the current mortgage rates and their preferred price point. The monthly obligation was astronomical. So we went the no mortgage route and they have been happy with that decision.

But how many other buyers are blessed enough to have this type of scenario? I can tell you, not many.

It is time for better home prices, more affordability and ease with finding the right home for your family's needs...

As the Atlanta Housing market begins its transition to a correction, I think it is a perfect time for buyers to educate themselves on the how to's of navigating this type of market.

I never pretend to know what thee future holds, but I do study trends and behaviors within the real estate world.
