Fear is different for everybody. We tell ourselves we fear failure. What we actually fear is success. Success requires consistency (to repeat the wins over and over). Success requires discipline and hard work. Success doesn’t allow for excuses like failure does.

For some, that fear is palpable, because rooted in the fear of succeeding is the fear of not belonging once you get there. Classic imposter syndrome.

I used to say fear is an illusion, that it wasn’t real. Introspection has taught me different. Whatever you think fear is, the best thing is to go inward and dig through all the old s**t that has been planted in your subconscious mind. Pull out those old dead roots. That way you can grow past whatever is holding you back.
