Inspection day is one of the most important parts of buying a home.
It isn’t about expecting a flawless house or simply passing or failing the property. It’s about understanding its condition, identifying concerns and deciding what deserves further evaluation before the due diligence period ends.
My job doesn’t stop when the offer is accepted. I help my buyers review the findings, ask the right questions and understand their options before moving forward.
What is one part of a home you would want inspected most carefully?

Helping a client buy a property is meaningful. Being trusted to sell that same property three years later means even more.
Thank you, Michele, for trusting me through both chapters. I still remember how you found me initially and were 100% convinced you wanted to work with me! Your kind words truly mean a lot to me.
If you’re thinking about buying or selling in Metro Atlanta or North Georgia, I’d be honored to help.

Real estate agents don’t have insomnia.
We just suddenly remember EVERYTHING we were supposed to do at 11:47 PM. 😂

Did I lock the door after the showing?
Did the earnest money get sent?
Did I follow up with that lead?
Did I update my seller?
Is that amendment signed?
Is my broker paperwork up to date?

And my personal favorite…
“Wait… did I send the showing feedback?” 😳
Then somehow we wake up the next morning and do it all over again. 😂
Fellow agents, what thought would you add to the list?
The thoughts never stop!

🌱 Looking for a way to get involved in Suwanee?
Harvest Farm and The Orchard at White Street Park are hosting a volunteer day on Saturday, August 15.
It’s a chance to help care for these community spaces, spend some time outdoors, and meet some of the people who help make Suwanee such a special place to live.
Bring gardening gloves, if you have them, and wear closed-toe shoes.

We toured a few homes with my buyers this weekend, one tip I’d like to share with sellers in this market is that the buyers are spotting all the little things immediately. Overgrown weeds, dirty siding, and neglected landscaping can shape a buyer’s first impression before they even step inside. If you’re thinking about selling, a few simple improvements can make a big difference. If you’re wondering where to start, I’d be happy to help.
Thinking about selling? Comment “TIPS” and I’ll share a few simple curb appeal improvements that can help your home make a stronger first impression on buyers.

The Grand Opening Ceremony for the Main Street Park in Suwanee wasn’t just about reopening a pavilion and a basketball court. It was about celebrating Suwanee’s history and the families who helped shape this community.
We enjoyed hearing what the Suwanee’s Mayor and all of the guests who contributed to the project’s success had to say, but one of my favorite parts of today’s celebration was hearing stories about the families who helped build Suwanee. The speakers shared how the Rogers family owned land that includes what is now Suwanee Station, reminding us that every community has stories that many of us have never heard. I came to witness another downtown Suwanee project’s completion and went home with so many stories to share! It was also great to see the completed basketball court mural that we helped paint 🥰

Sometimes the biggest changes in a community aren’t new homes. They’re the places that bring people together.
Suwanee’s newly renovated Burnette-Rogers Pavilion will have its Grand Opening ceremony on Aug 1, and it’s another example of why so many people love calling this city home. From concerts and festivals to everyday gatherings, these community spaces make a difference.
As a Realtor, I always encourage buyers to look beyond the house itself. Parks, walkability, local events, and public spaces all contribute to the lifestyle and long-term value of a neighborhood.
If you’re exploring Suwanee, Main Street Park is definitely worth a visit. What do you think of the new pavilion?
