New laws in Georgia going into effect on July 1, 2025 includes the following:
******HB399- If your landlord lives out of state, there must be a property manager in state to address any landlord related issues.
*******If you pay an application fee for an apartment and are denied the apartment, your application fee will be refunded.
*******Homeowners can press charges against squatters and seek fees for damages and rent.
