This 26 feet tall colossal statue that depict features of a Black person is Ramses II who is considered one of the most powerful and influential pharaohs in Egyptian history, ruling for over 60 years. This statue was discovered in 1954. After restoration, the statue was moved to the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. The statue is made of quartzite and weighs approximately 83 tons.
We are the first Kings and Queens before enslavement.
