Here’s the truth: The friendly salesperson in the model home works for the BUILDER. Their responsibility is to protect the builder’s interests—not yours.

A knowledgeable new-construction buyer’s agent can help you:

🏡 Compare builders, communities and available homes
💰 Identify potential incentives, upgrades and concessions
📝 Review builder contracts, deadlines and important terms
🚧 Monitor the home throughout the construction process
🔍 Recommend independent inspections at critical stages
✅ Advocate for you during walkthroughs and punch-list repairs
🤝 Make sure you receive what the builder agreed to provide

And trust me—new construction does NOT automatically mean problem-free! I have seen everything from damaged finishes to an entire home built with the wrong ceiling height. 😳

You don’t know what you don’t know—and that can become very expensive when building or purchasing a brand-new home.
