Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee, catching up on YouTube videos, and tinkering with my blog; the type of slow living I’m determined to have more of. Honestly, I almost forgot how much I enjoy creating and publishing content to my actual blog! This year I’m determined to show up on my personal platform as much as my social channels. What’s one thing you love that you plan to do more of this year? Because now is the time to make it happen!

Also, you can find the link to my latest post; 20 life lessons I learned in 2020! My next post is for my future homeowners; what not to do if you want to buy a house this year will go live on Sunday!

I always remind buyers to have an idea of how much you want to spend on your home! What number reasonably works for YOUR budget. Just because you are pre-approved for an amount doesn’t mean that’s what you have to spend! The last thing you want to be going into your first real estate purchase is “house poor”. So, before you are ready to start the homeownership process, crunch those numbers. There are tons of online calculators that you can use or as always, feel free to DM and I’ll point you in the right direction! This is your Year and I stand ready to assist!

5. Schedule a home inspection.⁣
6. Close, get the keys, and move in!⁣

Have you scoured the listings but can’t find what you’re looking for? A new construction may be in your future. Here are 3 reasons why it may be just the right fit:⁣
⁣▫️
1. Most new constructions give you the open floor plan you want without the inconvenience of costly renovations. That's not to mention maintenance costs will be low, low, low for years to come.⁣
2. A new build will have the latest gadgets and gizmos for your modern family including outlets, charging ports, and plenty of security and energy-efficient features.⁣
3. Another perk? Get in early enough and you’ll be able to customize and upgrade just to your liking. Lean on your agent’s guidance for which upgrades are worth it and which ones to pass on.⁣

If you’ve found an up-and-coming neighborhood you love and are thinking about buying new, let me help -- don’t miss out on your first-choice lot and location!⁣

It's such a sweet, slower-paced time of year - right after the holidays before the new year begins...⁣
⁣▫️
As leftovers, family members, and holiday Hallmark movies linger, I love to use this time to write thank-you notes to my client-friends from the past year. It gives me the chance to remember every face, every home, and every moment of joy with my buyers and sellers.⁣
⁣▫️
What are you thankful for these last few days of 2020? Share below - I'd love to hear.

A cold and rainy Christmas Eve makes for a perfect Vision Board Creating Day! Here’s how I do mine:
▫️
1. I like to start with writing out my goals;
2. Then I find images that represent those goals using Pinterest and Google.
3. Next I use to create an aesthetically pleasing collage;
4 Last I save this collage everywhere I can including, my phone, iPad, and my computer desktop. This year I also plan on getting it enlarged and framed for my office!
▫️
Do you create a vision board every year? How do you do it? Do you think it’s helpful as you navigate the year?

There's truly no place like home for the holidays!⁣
⁣▫️
This year, My husband and I will be home alone and have decided to throw a few things on the grill instead of redoing the traditional meal from Thanksgiving. We’re honestly looking forward to a few lazy days after a busy couple of months at work. Are you staying home? Having a socially distanced holiday? Virtually hosting anyone? How different is your Christmas looking this year? Let me know in the comments.
▫️
And if you’re looking to be a homeowner before next year’s holiday season, now is a good time to map out a plan to get you there! I’d love to chat with you and go over some options!

Is it just me, or does the month of December seem C-R-A-Z-Y to you, too? I know it’s been said that life is a marathon, not a sprint, but December sure feels like I’m running the 100 meter dash! Not only do I have work, but I’m also trying to finish all “the things” I said I wanted to complete before the New Year! Sound familiar?
▫️
When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I like to do the following to help me slooooooow down:
▫️
1. Lighten up my load by asking for help, delegating; and spacing out my projects where I can.
2. Take it back to the routines that set me up for success. In the mornings it’s a quick stretch routine, lemon water, journaling & reflecting before I start my day. In the evenings it’s working out, cooking a balanced meal, and spending time with my husband.
3. Simply remind myself to breath as I move from one task to the next and;
4. Make sure I find time weekly to do some of my favorite self care things like going for a walk, reading, and Pinteresting all the vacations I want to take when it’s safe.
▫️
If you’re feeling bogged down by the busyness of December, I hope these tips help you. Comment below if you have any other recommendations for slowing down during this busy season!
