🏡✨ FROM “I DON’T THINK I CAN BUY” TO HOMEOWNER! 🔑
Today was a GOOD day! ❤️
Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of connecting with this young man who initially came to me looking for a rental. As we talked, I asked him why he wasn’t considering purchasing a home instead.
His answer? He didn’t believe his credit was good enough to qualify.
After learning more about his situation, I encouraged him not to count himself out just yet. We talked through his concerns, I connected him with resources, and gave him some direction on steps he could take to strengthen his credit profile.
Then he did the most important part, he did the work. 👏🏽
He stayed committed, followed the guidance he was given, and improved his credit. And yes, I stayed on him too! 😂 Eventually, we decided it was time to see what was possible, so I connected him with my preferred lender.
The result? PRE-APPROVED! 🙌🏽
From there, we went from talking about renting…to searching for HIS home.
He found one he love❤️ We submitted the offer. The offer was accepted. And TODAY, he received the keys to his very first home! 🔑🏡
I couldn’t be more excited for him because this closing represents more than a house. It represents what can happen when you stop assuming the answer is “no,” get the right information, create a plan, and do the work.
Congratulations to my newest FIRST-TIME HOMEOWNER! 🎉🥂
And if you’re reading this thinking, “I would love to buy, but my credit isn’t where it needs to be,” please don’t automatically count yourself out.
