Florida and Hawaii are telling two different stories right now.

In Florida, the market has opened up for buyers: the median single-family home sits at $425K, homes are taking around 78 days to sell, and inventory is at 4.7 months — the most breathing room buyers have had in years.

On Oahu, it's the opposite: the median price just set a record at $1.24M, and homes are selling in a median of 13 days — often above asking.

Same country, same month, opposite markets. This is why national headlines can't tell you what YOUR market is doing.
