When you’re touring a home, look beyond the countertops, paint colors, and cute fixtures. Ask questions about the home’s major systems too:

🏠 Roof age & condition
❄️ HVAC age & maintenance
🚿 Plumbing
⚡ Electrical
💧 Water heater
🔎 Any known repairs or major updates

A beautiful home can still come with expensive problems — and that’s why doing your due diligence and getting the appropriate inspections can be so important.

Every home and transaction is different, and inspection/due-diligence rights and timelines depend on your specific contract.

Some people say open houses don’t work for them but this summer I’m trying something different focusing on social media open houses and constantly building relationships through all of them. Make sure you’re keeping an eye out for my open house signs when you’re out and about and follow me on social media on all platforms for more details and information of more homes to come.
