Two years into living here, and I am still checking things off the "new resident" list. 😊
When you move to a new place, you don't just change your address. You find a new bank, new doctors, new favorite restaurants, new routines, new friends, and sometimes even a new career. It can feel a little overwhelming at times
One thing I had been putting off? Finding a local dentist. I've been scheduling appointments whenever I was back in Atlanta, but today I finally made the switch and established care here.
Fun fact: I absolutely LOVE going to the dentist! I know that probably sounds strange, but I find it relaxing... kind of like getting a facial. 😄
Am I the only one, or are there other people out there who actually enjoy going to the dentist? Tell me I'm not alone! 🦷😂
The best part of today's visit? My hygienist was fabulous and knew several of the people I work with. That's one of the things I love most about living here. In a small town, everyone seems to know everyone, and somehow you're always just a connection or two away from feeling like family.
Little by little, all of these "news" become familiar, and this place feels more and more like home. ❤️
Who else is team "I love the dentist" and who is team "absolutely not"? 😆👇
