*My Real Estate Family…whew! I felt it ALL🙌* God saved my Mom! Grateful! Holding her hand means more than it ever did! 13 days ago…the scare of my life. In New York on vacation, Mom had a medical issue that landed her in ICU. From a terrifying moment, my push to get there, to my arrival and departure, so many stepped up in ways that I cannot even explain. (Will not name because I do not want to miss anyone.) From getting me off the floor (literally) in my hearing the frantic sound of my Aunt’s voice in giving me the news to transferring my luggage, etc to their car and rushing me to the airport to find a flight (I was headed to Vegas the next day for my AKA and NAREB conferences so gratefully I had things with me), to driving me back and forth to the airport to see if I could get out because it was quicker than trying over phone or figuring things out online (it took me a day and a half to get out due to storms in NY), to staying with me although not physically, but spiritually every step of the way, to my walking into the hospital, making a decision a day later to transfer her to another hospital so that she could receive the healthcare she deserved (NYU Langone Manhattan..thank you❤️), to making me take my hands off of things when it came to our departure because per Doctor’s order she could not fly, which I prepared for her to do; to handling the Amtrak fare to talking to me every hour on the hour to make sure we were good! We made it home, my Mom is ALIVE! Praise God!
Please stay close to your family and friends in medical situations. My Mother and Aunts retired from the medical field, my daughter is a “medical”, and so are many of my friends, so I pay homage to those that genuinely care and love what they do, but if I had not been there my Mom would have had a different outcome, BUT GOD!
My life changed 13 days ago seeing my Mom go through such a traumatic experience and being that close to her life ending, but God showed faithful as He is!
For every prayer, call, message, gift, every breath taken for me when I could not breathe, every “I am flying to NY”, “We are driving to get you”, to EVERY and ANYTHING that was done, I will NEVER forget!
