Well Connected. Two words that perfectly capture the future of real estate.
As I reflect on an inspiring week in San Francisco at Sotheby’s International Realty’s Global Networking Event, what stays with me most isn’t simply the extraordinary places we visited or the ideas we exchanged. It’s the people.
Conversations with exceptional professionals from around the world, new relationships formed, perspectives shared, and the realization that even in an increasingly digital world, meaningful human connections remain our greatest asset.
This week also brought the introduction of Sotheby’s International Realty’s new Well Connected campaign. I can’t think of a more fitting message for this moment in our industry.
As technology and artificial intelligence continue to reshape how we live, work, and conduct business, access to information is becoming increasingly universal. What will distinguish us is not simply what we know, but who we know, the trust we’ve earned, and our ability to connect people, ideas, and opportunities across markets and borders.
I had the privilege of leading a roundtable discussion on AI in real estate, which reinforced something I believe deeply: the future belongs to those who embrace innovation while continuing to invest in authentic relationships.
The same holds true well beyond real estate. In a world that is more technologically connected than ever, genuine human connection is becoming even more valuable.
I return to Atlanta with new friendships, fresh perspectives, and an even greater appreciation for the extraordinary global network I’m fortunate to be part of.
The future is connected. And more importantly, it’s human.
