I was a basketball coach for 26 years. I coached both collegiate and high school teams that continuously competed for a National Championship or a State Championship. When it was decided that my wife and I were adopting kids, I quickly realized that my priority was to be there for my kids as they grew up. I wanted to be there for the first words, the first steps, feedings (maybe not so many diaper
changes) and then their own practices, games, recitals as so on. As a coach, I would not be able to do that. I always had a love for real estate and actually had a part time business that I grew outside of coaching. When I could no longer ignore that voice inside me, I decided to trust in my faith and leap into real estate as a full time career. My biggest obstacle was getting past the fear if I had done the right thing. After that it was getting people to see me as a rock star agent and not a championship coach. As the two began to merge, I believe people see me as an agent that does not lose. I have recently partnered with my friend and co-agent to form The Phoenix Realty Team. This is something I have wanted to do for a while because it is built upon what I believe to be important. The Phoenix is a powerful, bird that rises from the ashes! It reminds us all that we all come from a place where we feel at our lowestโฆ where we need to find strength and purpose to stand up despite our fear, our pain. The Phoenix Realty Team is partnering with those who need a boost, so to speak. Who need a leg up so they too can rise from the ashes, build wealth and stability for themselves and their family. I have had people in my life who have helped me when I was at my bottom. We want to pay it forward, by using real estate as that vehicle. Today, Iโm grateful to be helping homeowners in the Greater North Atlanta area make an effortless move to their ideal home.
