Are you still paying PMI? You might not have to! Read ⬇️

As your home value increases and you build equity, you may qualify to have your Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) removed—potentially lowering your monthly mortgage payment.
Here’s what you should know:
✔️ You may be able to request PMI cancellation once you’ve reached 80% loan-to-value, if you’re current on your payments, have a good payment history, and meet your loan servicer’s requirements.
✔️ In many cases, PMI is automatically removed at 78% loan-to-value, as long as you’re current on your mortgage.
✔️ If you’ve refinanced, eligibility may be based on your home’s appraised value at the time of the refinance.
Many homeowners continue paying PMI simply because they don’t realize they’re eligible to have it removed.
