STAIRWELL AND SIDEWALK CLOSURE

Please be advised that starting June 8, the East End stairs of the Cumberland Bridge will be temporarily closed due to construction. There will be no public access to the sidewalk that leads from the stairwell towards the entrance of the Convention Center. A security fence will be placed to secure the work zone. Despite the stairwell closure, the bridge elevator will remain fully operational. All pedestrian traffic should use Galleria Parkway as the primary detour route. We expect to reopen early July 2026.

We appreciate the community's patience and cooperation as we work to improve our facility.

🚧 Weekend Traffic Advisory for I‑285 (Smyrna/Vinings)

GDOT will close multiple lanes on I‑285 from May 1 - 4 for ongoing reconstruction work. Key impacts include right‑lane closures between Bolton Rd. and South Atlanta Rd., plus additional left‑lane closures on Sunday between S. Cobb Dr. and Cobb Pkwy.
