CANCELED: The Cumberland Art Festival for October 17 and 18 has been called off. During setup this evening, we experienced 50+ mph wind gusts which prohibited our work to deliver a successful art festival this weekend.

We apologize to the sponsors, artists, vendors, volunteers, and fans of the art festival. We will regroup and be back stronger than before.

We want to take a moment to thank Genuine Parts Company for their incredible support as the presenting sponsor of the Cumberland Art Festival.

GPC has been a cornerstone of the Cumberland community for more than a decade, and their commitment to this inaugural event helped bring our vision to life. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and proud to have them as part of Cumberland's newest fall tradition.

Thank you, GPC. We cannot wait to do this again next year!

Meet Dawn Corner, one of the 125+ artists joining us at the inaugural Cumberland Art Festival on October 17 and 18 at Galleria on the Park.

A self-taught painter and teacher with over 17 years of experience, Art by Dawn Corner works in acrylic and collage on canvas and paper, building each piece through deep layers of color and texture finished with a glossy glaze that draws out the full intensity of her palette. Her signature subject is angels, a subject she was drawn to after being inspired by her mother. She approaches each one intuitively, trusting the process and allowing the figure to emerge rather than painting toward a predetermined outcome.

Her work has been collected by yoga studios, meditation centers and private collectors throughout the country and we cannot wait for Cumberland to experience it firsthand.
