A tree hit the roof during the storm, and the water didn't stop at the ceiling. 🌳💧
What looked like a few ceiling stains turned out to be soaked framing, wet insulation, and bottom plates reading at the top of our moisture meter.
The bathroom sat right under the biggest opening and took the worst of it. That's why we test before we tear out, and why you never just paint over a stain.
Here's what we did:
✅ Moisture mapping and thermal inspection
✅ Containment and floor protection to keep the rest of the home clean
✅ Removed the affected drywall, ceiling, and insulation
✅ Cleaned and treated all exposed framing with antimicrobial
✅ HEPA air scrubbing during demo
✅ Commercial dehumidifiers and air movers, monitored until dry
✅ Full documentation for the insurance claim
And we're not done. Once the drying is complete, we'll handle the full reconstruction and put the home back together.
Big shoutout to our roofing partner Hunter Adair 🙌 Hunter got the roof taken care of and trusted us with the inside. Partnerships like this mean the homeowner gets one smooth process from the roof down, instead of chasing multiple contractors.
