I love this comment from a Zillow spokesperson... "While Compass has been waging a campaign against market transparency to the detriment of consumers and agents, Zillow, by contrast, has a long history of providing transparency and equal access to real estate information, to the benefit of consumers and agents"
So, if Zillow is so transparent, I guess every consumer knows that Zillow takes 40% of the brokers/agent compensation when referring a consumer to a local agent...bullsh*t, they are NOT transparent and want to monopolize the market. They have bought Dotloop (real estate transaction software company), ShowingTime (property showing/scheduling software company) and much more (listed below) in an effort to corner the real estate market. I'm sick of all the greed. They don't have agents working in the field that know the local markets and rely on the self employed local agents to assist buyers that click on their website. Just another mogul that will eventually control everything real estate related unless we start speaking up. Your local agents are essential to these real estate transactions, stop letting companies without knowledge of the local market take 40% of their income, they have families to feed and are just wanting to make an honest living and help buyers & sellers with their real estate goals.
