Excluding the City of Locust Grove service area, except for the following neighborhoods: Grove Park, Copperfield, Berkley Lake, Bridle Creek, Brighton, Amber Ridge, Coulter Woods and Bunn Farm.

UPDATE: This has become an official BOIL WATER ADVISORY for Southeast Henry. The increase in natural organic materials in our filtration system slowed down our production process. This caused water pressure to temporarily drop below the minimum requirement. To comply with safety regulations, we must issue this advisory. Due to the recent period of high temperatures, increased levels of naturally occurring organic matter have developed in the drinking water reservoir. While this organic material is harmless, it can react during the water treatment process and cause the water to appear slightly yellow or tea-colored.

Although the change in color may be noticeable, the water remains safe to drink and continues to meet all applicable drinking water quality standards.

We appreciate your patience as seasonal conditions affect the source water. Our team continues to closely monitor water quality and optimize the treatment process to minimize impacts. With high temperatures and elevated heat indexes expected this week, Henry County has opened Cooling Centers where residents can cool off with air conditioning and receive complimentary bottled water while supplies last.
