Having no goals is having no direction. Knowing what you want helps guide you to where you need to be. Having goals keeps you focused, disciplined, and on purpose. You cannot accidentally become successful just like you cannot accidentally end up at a destination without knowing what route you’re going to take, you have to be purposeful. When you have goals you’re able to say no to the things that’ll pull you in the wrong direction because you have a clear vision of where you want to go.

Moral of the story: Know what you want. Figure out how to get there and do what you said you would once you arrive.
