Georgia House votes to legalize tiny homes across state 🏘️

Georgia homeowners would be able to build accessory dwelling units on residential properties across the state under a proposed bill.

House Bill 1166 was passed by the Georgia House of Representatives on March 6 in a vote of 111 to 50. The legislation would allow homeowners to place a secondary home up to 400 square feet in size on their primary residential property without local zoning approval.
