Lilly Ortiz the Realtor

Lilly Ortiz the Realtor Welcome. Iโ€™m Lilly Ortiz. I support real estate agents seeking clarity beyond traditional models.

This space is educational, transparent, and focused on building sustainable, balanced careers without hype, pressure, or burnout. ๐Ÿก Welcome to my world of real estate, where dreams find their perfect homes and memories are crafted with every key turned. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

Since 2002, I've been on a heartfelt journey through Atlanta's vibrant real estate landscape. As a seasoned broker, I've weathered the storms

and soared through the successes, earning my broker license in 2005. Though the market faced its trials in 2008, my passion for connecting people with their ideal properties remained unwavering. For me, real estate isn't just about transactions; it's about creating meaningful experiences. Guiding buyers and sellers through their journeys, I find joy in making the process seamless and enjoyable, ensuring each client feels empowered every step of the way. Atlanta isn't just a city to meโ€”it's the place I've called home since 1999, where every corner holds cherished memories and endless possibilities. Alongside my two wonderful children, Jose and Ana, I've woven the fabric of my life into this vibrant community. Life's journey has presented its challenges, and I've faced them with resilience and grace. Though my husband's unexpected passing in 2003 left a void, it's taught me the profound value of compassion, strength, and unwavering determination. Today, as I open the doors to new beginnings, I extend a warm invitation to you. Whether you're seeking your dream home, considering a sale, or simply have questions about the dynamic Atlanta real estate market, I'm here to lend my expertise and support. Let's turn your real estate aspirations into reality. ๐ŸŒŸ Don't hesitate to reach outโ€”I'd be honored to be your trusted advisor and guide on your journey home. ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ’–

Nobody warned me. So I am warning you.

6:43am
Alarm goes off. You were supposed to be up at 6:15.
You were not up at 6:15. ๐Ÿ˜‚

7:00am
Coffee. Non-negotiable. Everything else is optional.

7:12am
6 unread texts. 3 emails. One Zillow inquiry about a house that sold in 2022.
You respond to all of them immediately.
You always do. You always will. ๐Ÿ˜„

7:52am
Get dressed. Look professional.
Spill coffee on professional outfit.
Get dressed again. We move on. ๐Ÿ˜…

8:15am
Client found a house online. It sold in 2022.
They want to see it this weekend.
You say "let me look into that for you."
You are a professional.

10:22am
Buyers at the showing.
It smells a little in here.
You say: "Great bones, just needs fresh air!"
You think: I am a professional. I am a professional. ๐Ÿ˜‚

12:00pm
Lunch. Technically.
Drive-thru. Red light. Four minutes.
You have made complete peace with this. ๐Ÿ˜„

1:47pm
We want to make an offer.
Your entire nervous system celebrates. ๐ŸŽ‰

2:45pm
Competing offer received.
You feel something else entirely. ๐Ÿ˜‚

4:15pm
Offer accepted.
Full celebration. Car. Alone. Nobody watching.
Oscar-worthy performance. ๐Ÿฅ‚โ˜•

7:45pm
Client texts. "Quick question."
It is never a quick question.
You answer it anyway. ๐Ÿ’›

9:00pm
Sit down for the first time today.
Check tomorrow's schedule.
It says "busy."

You smile. ๐Ÿ˜„

Because as chaotic and unpredictable as this career is

You genuinely cannot imagine doing anything else.

Can I be honest with you for a second?

May taught me a lot.

About what agents are really struggling with. About what they are secretly dreaming of. About the gap between the career they have and the career they know is possible.

And it made me more certain than ever about why I do what I do.

So I am stepping into June with something I want to say clearly and without apology:

I am building something. And I want you to be part of it.

A real, growing community of agents who decided that good enough was not good enough anymore.

Agents who are done starting from zero every month.
Agents who want income that grows even when they are not closing.
Agents who want to build a team without losing themselves in the process.
Agents who want a career that gives them back their time and their life.

This month, I am showing you exactly what that looks like in real conversations, real stories, and real results.

Here is what to expect:
๐Ÿ’› Honest talk about freedom in a real estate career.
๐Ÿ“ˆ Income growth beyond your closings and how to build it.
๐Ÿก Stories from agents who built teams without burning out.
โšก A plain English look at what makes this model genuinely different.

No fluff. No hype. Just the truth from someone living it every single day.

The agents who are ready for more are not waiting for permission. They are waiting for the right conversation at the right time.

Maybe that time is now.

Welcome to June. Let's build something worth talking about.

Drop the word "BOLD" below if you are stepping into June with intention. I want to see who is in this with me.

Just a reminder:

You can slow down and not get behind.

Not every season is meant to be hurried through.
Not every moment needs to be optimised, or productive, or a milestone.

Some days are for breathing.
For resting.
For recalibration.
For choosing peace over pressure.

I think a lot of us have quietly convinced ourselves that if we slow down, weโ€™re losing steam.
But tiredness isnโ€™t evidence that youโ€™re doing life right.

You don't have to earn rest.
You donโ€™t have to explain why you need space.
And you are not โ€œbehindโ€ because your journey doesnโ€™t look hurried.

The reality?
Things built with clarity, intention, and a healthy mind usually outlive things built from burnout.

So this is your permission slip for today:
Take the break.
Sign out early.
Take the walk.
Sip the coffee slowly.
Guiltlessly say no.
Start over tomorrow if you have to.

Your life isn't a race.
And rest is not a failure. ๐Ÿค

What if your best month in real estate was not the one where you closed the most deals, but the one where you built something that kept growing without you?

Picture this.

It is a Tuesday morning. You are sitting with your coffee, actually present, and your phone buzzes.

Not a client emergency. Not a lender asking for one more document.

Income!! From an agent on your team who closed a deal yesterday.

That is what team building looks like inside the eXp model.

Not managing people. Not babysitting. Just intentionally introducing the right agents to the right opportunities and earning alongside their growth.

Here is what most agents never get told:

Closing deals builds your income for now.
Building a team builds your income for later.

Only one of them keeps working when you take a holiday. When life asks something of you that the hustle cannot answer.

I lived on the wrong side of that equation for too long.

And then someone showed me the other side.

That is what I am building. That is what I am inviting you into.

Not a team where you get lost in someone else's vision. A partnership where we both win at the same time.

DM me the word TEAM and let's talk.

I received this message last week. I had to share it.

Because this is not about me.

This is about what happens when an agent finally sees that there is a completely different way to build in this industry.

A way where your income does not stop when you do.
A way where the agents around you lift your business as they build their own.
A way where a slow month does not have to mean a slow income.

This agent was skeptical. Most are at first.

Because nobody explains this model properly. Nobody walks you through what it actually looks like, not in a presentation, but in your bank account on a regular day.

That is what I do.

And messages like this are why I will never stop.

DM me the word TEAM and let's talk.

The agents around you will shape the agent you become.
Choose wisely.

So be intentional.

Get around agents who are building with purpose. Who celebrates your wins. Who pushes you to grow without making you feel small for where you are right now.

If you are ready to be in a room like that... DM me. Let's talk.

This is not a pitch.

It is an invitation to build something that actually works for your life.

You gave me so many incredible answers.

First, thank you for the messages.

Genuinely.

The responses to my previous post were more honest, more real, and more moving than I expected. Agents from all different stages of their careers are showing up and saying, "Here is what I am actually struggling with."

That takes courage. And I do not take it lightly.

I read every single message. And what I noticed is that most of them fell into four very specific categories.

So I want to ask the broader question now, because I think more of you are feeling this than are saying it out loud.

What is your biggest challenge in your real estate business right now?

Time: I never have enough of it. My calendar runs me, and I can never seem to get ahead of the week no matter how hard I try.

Income: It is inconsistent and unpredictable. Good months followed by slow months and I never quite feel financially secure no matter how many deals I close.

Direction: I am busy but not building. I show up every day, but I honestly could not tell, what I am working toward or whether any of it is moving the needle.

Community: I am doing this completely alone. Real estate can be the loneliest career in the world, and nobody prepares you for that part.

Drop your answer in the comments below โ€“ or send a DM

Because here is what I know:

Every single one of these challenges has a solution. Not a quick fix. Not a magic formula. But a real, sustainable, intentional solution that agents are living proof of every single day.

So send a DM. Comment. Be honest.

Which one is yours right now?

Share this with an agent who needs to know they are not alone in whatever they are feeling today.

Real question for my fellow agents today

If you could change *ONE thing* about how your real estate business currently runsโ€ฆ

What would it be?

Maybe itโ€™s:
โ€ข inconsistent income
โ€ข burnout
โ€ข lack of support
โ€ข chasing leads constantly
โ€ข feeling like you can never truly unplug
โ€ข doing everything alone
โ€ข not having enough time freedom

Or maybe itโ€™s something nobody else sees behind the scenes.

No โ€œperfect agentโ€ answers.
Just honesty.

I genuinely want to hear your answer, and Iโ€™ll personally respond to every comment.

Sometimes one honest conversation can change everything.
