Meet the Lavista Team

Senior Director Thomas Martin specializes in retail investment sales with a focus on unanchored multi-tenant retail between 5,000 SF and 50,000 SF. His responsibilities include valuation and positioning of income-producing retail real estate and guiding ownership through all aspects of the sale process.

Active in Atlanta and the Southeast, Thomas’ experience representing sellers and buyers of investment real estate has earned him more than $100M in investment sales. Before pursuing a career in commercial real estate, Thomas spent 10 years as a research biologist specializing in birds, conservation, and tropical systems.

Thomas is an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and Young Council of Realtors. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Millsaps College and Master of Science at University of Mississippi.

A husband and father to two girls and one boy, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family. He’s also an outdoor enthusiast who loves to hunt, fish and shoot, being ranked as a National Sporting Clay Association shooter, and is an Eagle Scout involved in the Boy Scouts Atlanta Phoenix District.
