Alpharetta has two great trail systems, the Alpha Loop and the Big Creek Greenway, and they still don't meet.

The new gateway park going in at North Point Parkway looks like the connection. It isn't. The trail that actually ties the two together is a separate project, and its clock only started in August.

These are from the downtown stretch this week, by Thompson Street Park.

Brand new and never lived in: three levels, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2,105 square feet in Towns on Thompson. Ten-foot ceilings on the main, quartz waterfall island, covered deck off the back. Downtown Alpharetta and Avalon are both an easy walk, and the Alpha Loop is right across the street.

Where I'd send a friend this month: coffee, an easy dinner, a real one, and what's going on downtown.

Two dates worth circling. Wire & Wood takes over downtown October 9–10, and Restaurant Week runs October 10–17. If there's a place on here you've been meaning to try, that week is your excuse.

Builders and investors are a different client. They do not need hand-holding. They need somebody who can read a set of plans, knows what the lot is worth finished, and does not waste their time getting there.
