POPE & LAND IS PROUD TO PARTNER WITH OPEN HAND ATLANTA

Pope & Land’s Property Management Team recently volunteered their time at Open Hand Atlanta, one of the largest community-based providers of home-delivered meals and nutrition services in the U.S. Through their combined efforts, they packaged 1,200 dinners and 3 different breakfasts of 500 each (1,500 total). Great job, team!

The non-profit organization provides all their services free to clients as more than 90% are from under-resourced communities, and 75% of those live at or below the federal poverty line.

One-third of their clients say that, if not for Open Hand, they would have no idea where their next meal would come from.

As of 2023, their 35th year of service, Open Hand has officially served 35 million meals to the community.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL DONATION DRIVE

Pope & Land Enterprises, Inc.'s Property Management team at TownPark Commons and Barrett Lakes recently partnered with Alternative Start for a back-to-school supply donation drive. Alternative Start is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving teens and young adults exposure to career paths and trades that do not require a degree.

Through the generous donations made by our Tenants, we were able to successfully collect hundreds of items for Alternative Start.

A successful school supply drive ensures every student has an equal chance in the classroom. When students have the necessary supplies, the impact is significant. They feel 94% more prepared for studies, their self-confidence increases by 76%, and they participate in class 83% more.

The 118-unit, 330-bed luxury student housing tower is located in one of Atlanta’s most in-demand neighborhoods and across the street from the northeast entrance to Georgia Tech’s main campus and features fully furnished two- and four-bedroom student housing.

While offering Community Amenities such as pool tables, ping pong tables, a theatre room, video game room, fitness center, private study rooms, 24/7 security, gated resident parking and monthly resident events, what highly intelligent Georgia Tech student wouldn’t want to live here while pursuing their higher education degree? Drew Spears is the Owner’s Representative for P&L 100 Midtown, LLC on this deal. Greystar will provide Property Management Services.
