Environmental due diligence is one of the most important, and often misunderstood, aspects of commercial real estate transactions.

Over the past several weeks, Jim Camp has shared a 5-part educational series covering how environmental concerns can influence everything from deal structure and financing to redevelopment potential and closing timelines in commercial real estate. Read Jim's full blog series at the link below so you can learn more about how understanding these risks will help your transactions move forward with greater clarity and confidence!

Grant Park is getting a glow-up 🌱

From the Kaboom! playground to progress at the Gateway building, new energy is everywhere. ⚡️ On the west side of the park, the historic Milledge Fountain is being revitalized with plans for an outdoor classroom, performance space, and improved accessibility. Over on Boulevard, Boulevard Green is now open as a new hub for markets, events, and community programming.

All part of the Grant Park Conservancy's ongoing efforts to keep Atlanta’s oldest park thriving year-round! 🌳 Photos:

Site selection isn’t just a real estate decision, it's a positioning strategy. 🔄

As infrastructure investment continues to reshape accessibility and foot traffic across Atlanta, timing matters more than ever. The fastest-growing corridors are emerging in high-density, mixed-use areas in O4W and Reynoldstown along the BeltLine, Midtown, and Downtown, as well as expanding suburban hubs in North Fulton and Forsyth County.

The strongest tenant strategies go beyond the space itself, they consider where a neighborhood is headed, who it serves, and how it functions throughout the day.

Our agents can help you navigate these complex decisions by leveraging decades of industry knowledge to get your business in the right location. Talk to the Adams team before you sign your next lease! Photos: ,

Big things are happening at Inman Quarter. ✨

The mixed-use hub just off the BeltLine’s Eastside Trail is getting a property-wide refresh designed to enhance the experience while preserving its neighborhood character. Updates include a redesigned courtyard, new seating, fresh landscaping, improved lighting, bike amenities, a large-scale mural, and flexible space for future events.

With its recent open-container designation and all businesses remaining open during construction, Inman Quarter is another example of how Atlanta’s intown neighborhoods continue investing in vibrant, walkable community spaces. Photos:

At Adams Commercial, we’ve had the opportunity to advise and represent a range of nonprofit organizations and local governments, helping them find and secure spaces that serve their communities.

We’re especially proud of is our Founder, Bill’s pro bono work in 2003 to help acquire the Arizona Avenue soccer fields. ⚽️ As a longtime soccer fan, and with his son Silas growing up playing on those very fields, it’s a project that hit close to home.

For us, real estate is about more than closing deals, it’s about helping our community create spaces where we can come together and make lifelong memories. Photos: Breedlove Land Planning

Did you know and Adams Realtors began operating the same year?

Now, nearly five decades later, MARTA is stepping into a new era. This week, MARTA started rolling out its new “Better Breeze” system, making getting around the city faster and easier than ever. Riders can now tap-to-pay directly at faregates and on buses using their phone or card.

With major events like the 2026 on the horizon, we're excited to see MARTA take this necessary step toward a more connected, accessible Atlanta. 🚇 Photo:

Adaptive reuse is a vital component of Atlanta's future and we're watching it unfold in real time in as the city prepares for the 2026 World Cup. ⚽🏗️

This project is a masterclass in using strategic timing to breathe new life into a long neglected corridor by repositioning and preserving it's existing infrastructure ahead of a global event like the World Cup. The sequencing of improving transit access and the streetscape 👉 to activating new retail and business opportunities 👉 improving housing options in the area is intentional and will hopefully create long-term value that the city desperately needs.

The World Cup will only last 32 days, but it's impact will be felt for years. Thanks to for highlighting how this exciting new chapter is unfolding. Check out their website for an in depth look at this project! Photos:
