Shawna brings more than a decade of experience supporting high-volume medical offices, where she developed a strong foundation in organization, scheduling, and client service. Her background in fast-paced healthcare environments, including work with a leading Buckhead plastic surgery practice, has shaped her ability to anticipate needs, solve problems efficiently, and create a seamless experience for both clients and team members.

We are excited to welcome Tristine Okonye to DTSpade as a member of our Healthcare & Medical brokerage team, based in our Atlanta headquarters.

Tristine specializes in healthcare and medical office properties, advising providers, practice owners, and investors on acquisitions, leasing strategy, site selection, and portfolio growth. A native of Durham, North Carolina, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and her master’s degree from North Carolina State University.

Before entering commercial real estate, Tristine competed as a professional track and field athlete, developing the discipline, resilience, and performance mindset that now define her approach to complex transactions. She later served as an analyst within the federal government, where she applied rigorous data analysis to high-impact public sector initiatives — experience that continues to inform her strategic, methodical advisory style.

Jon-Paul and Travis bring decades of experience to our Healthcare & Medical practice, enhancing our ability to support physician groups, health systems, and medical operators with strategic real estate solutions rooted in data and industry insight.

With more than 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership, Jon-Paul previously served as CEO and COO of hospitals across three states. He holds an MBA and Master’s in Healthcare Administration, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and is a past President and current board member of ACHE of Georgia.

Whiplash Comedy, the latest concept from the team behind Laughing Skull Lounge and Funny Farm Comedy Club, is set to open a two-showroom venue at the corner of Glen Iris Drive and North Avenue. Whiplash will bring nightly stand-up from national touring acts and regional favorites, plus a “tight” food menu, a full beverage program, and comedy classes.
