My electric bills during the summer are over $500 and even in winter are never below $225 with gas heat! The house is about 2,200 sq.ft. and was built in 1989 and even has spray foam in the attic now. I have had 4 energy audits, had GA Power out several times and it just doesn’t make any sense. So I just got Sense and hopefully will find the answer to the 8 year puzzle. I’ll keep you updated and let you know how Sense works for me and if you should try using Sense. Installing today.

Thank you all for "checking in" and asking how I was coping with my recent armed car jacking and home invasion. I'm much better now that the U S Marshals apprehended and indicted the guy with 8 felony charges and held without bond. I never thought my ordeal would gain national attention with ABC's Good Morning America, Inside Edition, CNN and Atlanta's News 2 and Fox 5. It was even in the New York Post! All this attention did get the thug identified and is spreading the word about home surveillance. In fact, Fox 5's Tacoma Perry is interviewing me tomorrow for a story on home surveillance systems.

Next is getting the damages to property repaired or replaced as is the case with the Mercedes convertible as it became a casualty. Thinking about switching your insurance company? I cannot recommend Farmer's highly enough. New to Farmer's this year, I start with not one claim, but a claim on two policies right away. I never had a large claim for over a twenty year history with my prior insurer. Farmers has been uber top notch and professional, very understanding and my Farmer's Agent sent hand written notes letting me know that I can count on them to help me get back to enjoying my life as seamlessly and quickly as possible. So after the interview tomorrow, off to car shop.

Thanks again everyone as I appreciate the cards, flowers and well wishes more than you think. The affirmation is something I will take away from this life changing event is that there are more good people in this world than bad, and what really matters anyway, are the good ones.

My mom has a home in San Destin that she wants to sell/trade for a home on Lake Lanier. That 5 1/2 hour drive is just getting to be too much for her. House is in great shape it has been well-maintained. its about 1800 ft.² three bedroom three bath in Deerwood which is in Sandestin Miramar Beach Florida. Gorgeous beaches and the whitest sand in the world.

She listed it while she was down last time and the pictures are horrible but I have attached them here until I can get a professional photographer and to take some pictures that will do it justice. Priced at $375,000. Let me know if you're interested
