Home Repairs Ministries, Inc. is an Atlanta area nonprofit that helps low-income homeowners, many of them older adults or disabled, stay in their homes by offering critical repairs they can’t afford. Instead of watching these homes slip into foreclosure or investor hands, they get a second life along with the neighborhood.
This kind of work doesn't just preserve affordable housing. It beautifies streets, builds community pride, and keeps generational wealth in the families who earned it.
