Honored to Share Some Important News

As the grandson of both my maternal grandmother Sarah Lowe Stevens and paternal grandmother Cornelia Frazier Mullice —each proud graduates of —and as the son of a member of the Academy’s Board of Directors, this moment carries special meaning for me.

I’m pleased to share that the team in Liberty County, led by and .washington Al Williams , and has put their energy, talent, and passion into creating a documentary that tells the extraordinary story of Dorchester Academy and its pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement.

I am hopeful that this documentary will become a powerful tool—one that helps young people understand the influence they have and the change they can create in the world.

The construction team is working hard every day to build The Proctor . It has been designed to provide the people of West Atlanta with what they wanted: a Class A building that is both environmentally and socially sustainable. The Windsor Stevens team is pleased to be working on a Saturday alongside the Precision Concrete, LLC team as we strip forms off of the shear walls inside of the podium.

Mr. Mills’ visit provided an invaluable opportunity to present our latest projects and engage in meaningful discussions on innovative design and construction methodologies.
The Proctor is a premier development known for its cutting-edge design and sustainable construction practices. Our team is dedicated to creating spaces that not only meet the highest standards of quality and functionality but also contribute positively to the community and environment. During the visit, we showcased our latest advancements, including the Oliver Street Mixed-Use Development, which features state-of-the-art green building technologies, smart infrastructure, and community-centric design.

Progress in Motion – A Visit from former Mayor Eric Clarkson of the .ga
We were honored to welcome Mayor Eric Clarkson to The Proctor construction site, located just one block from the Atlanta Beltline Connector. His visit was more than a check-in—it was a celebration of the vision that has transformed Chamblee over the past 18 years.
Mayor Clarkson has been the driving force behind Chamblee’s rapid redevelopment, integrating smart growth initiatives that have made the city a model for innovation and livability. As a former member of the ’sBoard of Directors, he’s championed regional connectivity and sustainable urban planning.
One of his most passionate causes? The rail trail and its seamless connection to metro Atlanta’s trail systems, including the BeltLine. His advocacy continues to shape a future where mobility, community, and green space intersect.
