One Year ago today we found out I had stage 4 a**l cancer, boy has it been a Rollercoaster... lots of ups and down with me and even more with us. But here we find ourselves a year later and you're still rooting for me, still trying your very best to encourage and support me. I just want to say thank you. I know this has not been a "easy" journey. But, I do believe we both will be better because of it. Victory is coming.

I got out today for a lil bit and was lucky enough to two of my favorite people. I so blessed to be able to do this while dealing with so much.

I told you cancer doesn't have me, I will beat this thing with the support of loved ones, friends, and family. God ain't through with me yet.

Of course I was missing one guy in particular but I'll see him soon enough

I'm just trying to get out more. Cancer is an extremely tough battle but it surely won't steal my joy. I'm going to smile my way my way to victory, family and friends including. ❤️

This won't be a long post or an update why I'm here in the hospital.... but I just need you to know you can't give up. The better your attitude the better the results. There is a limitless winner inside of you... you just have to find it.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all this through Christ who strengthens me.

If ever asked my favorite scripture, I quickly choose this one. This unyielding strength from God has seen me through so much. Every time it has appeared I lost, God has strengthen me and allowed me to endure and win. From birth until now God has been my covering my strengthen when I've been weak. From attending three community colleges with no direction; Ive been strengthen. From the various financial hiccups of college; but I got the degree. From losing my mom for 12.5 years, God strengthen me to persist and get over. From losing my grandmother in 2 month to cancer as I took care of her, 4:13 got me over. Today, as most of you know I'm dealing with stage 4 cancer and God is still strengthen me so I my come out a winner. One of my favorite songs says, "don't give up on God cause he won't give up on you." I'm going to trust and lean on Philippians 4:13 even more as I fight this battle. I have ever reason to believe I'm coming out better than I went in, it's been proven time after time. Build Back Better with Jesus. Amen.

Happy New Year to you, your family, and to all who read this. Each year we get a quick reminder that time is the most precious commodity on planet earth. We cannot trade it, borrow, upgrade it, or give it away. The time we are given waits on no one and nothing. Today as we move out of 2021 and into 2022 (lol) think about how you'll spend your valuable time this year, how will you show you're grateful for the time you'll be given. Remember, so much time is wasted each day and it will never come back or be replaced. Make your time matter. Happy New Year and I wish you the best year thus far. Amen!!!

PRAISE BREAK..... we are all just waiting to hear the official report that I'm healed and cancer free and pain free. I won't be long, but I've truly learned to trust God when I may not be able to trace him. I'm excited about recovery, restoration, and rejuvenation. I'm excited to know that God has answered out prayers and will continue to do great things for us.

I love you all and thank each and every one of you, as I've said before, I wouldn't have been able to do this without your prayers and well wishes. God is always in control. See you at the summit Kings and Queens.

Hello to you all,

Just a update:.... As you know, I've completed radiation and chemotherapy. I just want to ask for your continued prayers for healing, remission, and pain-free.

We have come so far together and we only have a little ways to go now. I'm ready to get back to move positive moments like the ones pictured here. Ready to get back to making memories, with friends and family. I'm ready to enjoy all the things we've taken for granted for so long.

As always, I'll leave you with this. We get one shot, one opportunity at this thing called life. Let's from this day forward live it to the fullest, live out your hope and dreams. I look forward to my new perspective on life and enjoying yours as well. See you at the TOP!!

Friendly update. Now approaching week 4 of 6 of cancer treatments. Early on my doctor told me this would be a Rollercoaster and was he spot on. Yet he didn't tell me 8am could look so drastically different from 8pm. This journey, especially this past week, has beat me down more than it's lifted me up. I had to work extra hard this week with my tribe to keep smiling and pressing through the pain and uncomfortablenees of it all.

From tenderness down to my toes, issues with food textures, never happen before, constant pain no matter the frequency of pain meds, awful cramps, so bad I'd just push on my stomach and scream hoping and praying for relief. Weight loss no matter how much I consume. This week might have giving me one night of great sleep, thank you for that.

I'm telling this story for me but also for the someone who needs to know, pain is temporary, hurt like hell in the moment, but it's temporary. So if we can yet hold on just a little while long, if we can press on, run and not faint, the pain will subside and be replaced with something. Yes we may be broken but not defeated. So please please please whomever you are, don't give up just yet. I know it hurts, but it's for your good. I know it's uncomfortable but if you look back over your life, you've been prepared for this moment, I know it makes you cry, so do I.

Promise we are not in this fight alone, moving forward let us commit to being Philippians 4:13 and Jeremiah 29:11 type of people.
