Yesterday, Liv + I stopped by this totally adorable new coffee joint while heading to my buyers inspection. To my surprise, the coffee I tried was SO bitter——it felt like I was drinking liquid charcoal. 😅

Moral of the story: Everyone has different tastebuds! What may be a bitter disappointment for us could be someone else’s perfect cup of joe!

So, yes, it’s always a good idea to do a quick online search and ask for recommendations before trying out a new spot! But don’t let one persons bad experience ruin your chances of finding your new favorite brew 🙃

I know that saving for real estate can feel like a huge challenge. I totally get it!! Whether you're saving for a down payment or an investment property, it can seem like you're always just out of reach.😫

Does saving take discipline? Sure.
Is it impossible? Not. at. all.

I'm here to help lighten the struggle with some tips I wish I would have done much sooner! These little things have made such a difference for us:

→ Automate your savings to make it easier! Seriously what you don't see - you don't miss!
→ Set specific goals and talk about them often to stay focused.
→ Use extra money, like tax refunds or bonuses, to give your savings a boost. (It's that time of year!)
→ Avoid lifestyle inflation - keep your old car and phone, for example.
→ Get out of debt... and stay out of debt.
→ Say no to friends who want you to spend, spend, spend.
